Autism and Anxiety

Updated: Mar 27, 2019

Working in partnership with CASPA Bromley, our first workshop on Autism and Anxiety was delivered to parents and carers in Central Bromley this evening. Covering a wide range of topics, including the aspects of autism that can increase anxiety, the physiological responses and evolutionary function of anxiety as well as the needs-driven behaviour of all human beings, attendees reported a greater understanding of the issues facing their autistic children/young people and why they behave the way they do.

“It has helped me to better understand anxiety – really useful”

“Not a training course I have seen offered elsewhere”

“Very interesting to understand my child’s behaviours in terms of anxiety – it’s fight or flight…..”
